Privacy Policy

Overview

NotiFi ("NotiFi", "we", "us") is an iPhone app that watches the public Ubiquiti UniFi store and alerts you when gear you care about comes back in stock. NotiFi is operated by Parra, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers the NotiFi app and the website at getnotifi.app.

NotiFi is built to need as little of your information as possible. There is no account to create, and we never ask for your name, email address, or password.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to deliver alerts and remember what you want to watch:

  • Device and push information. When you enable notifications, iOS gives us an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token so we can send alerts, along with a randomly generated device identifier, your app version, iOS version, device model, language, and time zone. This lets us route the right alert to the right device.
  • Your watchlist. The products and variants you choose to watch, your per-item alert preferences (restock, price drop), and the lists you organize them into. This is stored on our servers so alerts keep working when the app is closed.
  • Purchase status. If you subscribe or buy NotiFi Beast, Apple processes the payment and gives us an Apple-signed receipt of your entitlement so we can unlock features. We never receive or store your card number or billing details.
  • Webhook settings. If you are on a plan that includes webhooks and you set one up, we store the HTTPS endpoint and the token you provide so we can deliver your own alerts to it.
  • Website analytics. getnotifi.app uses privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics that do not use cookies and do not identify you individually.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or any other sensitive category of information, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. How we use your information

  • To send the restock, price-drop, and new-product alerts you ask for.
  • To keep your watchlist and settings in sync and available across your devices.
  • To unlock the features included with your subscription or purchase.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the app and website.
  • To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not done so. We share information only with the service providers that make NotiFi work, and only as needed:

  • Apple, for push notification delivery (APNs), App Store purchases, and iCloud sync.
  • Our hosting and database providers (including Vercel and Neon), which store the app's data on our behalf under their own security obligations.
  • Any webhook endpoint you configure — by your own choice, we send your alert data to the URL you provide.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect it under this policy.

4. Cookies and tracking

The NotiFi app does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website uses only what is necessary to serve pages and gather cookieless, aggregate usage statistics. We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep your device and watchlist information for as long as the app is installed and in use. If you uninstall the app, stop using it for an extended period, or ask us to delete your data, we remove the device record and its associated watchlist, except where we must retain limited information to comply with law.

6. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and limit what we collect in the first place.

7. Children's privacy

NotiFi is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your privacy rights

You can control the core of your privacy directly: turn notifications on or off in iOS Settings, remove items from your watchlist, and uninstall the app at any time. Because NotiFi has no accounts, the simplest way to have us delete your server-side data is to email us the request.

To access, correct, or delete the information associated with your device, email privacy@parra.io.

9. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia — have the right to confirm whether we process their information, to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to obtain a copy, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@parra.io; if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

10. Do Not Track

Because there is no consistent industry standard for Do Not Track signals, the website does not respond to them. We will update this section if that changes.

11. International users

NotiFi is operated from the United States and our providers store data in the United States. If you use NotiFi from outside the U.S., you understand your information is processed here.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be reflected here. Continued use of NotiFi after an update means you accept the revised policy.

13. Contact us
