Accessibility

Our commitment

Restocks are won in seconds, and reacting to an alert shouldn't depend on how you see, hear, or interact with your device. NotiFi is built to work with the assistive technologies people actually rely on, and we audit the app against each of them before every release that touches the interface.

Supported accessibility features in the iOS app

• VoiceOver. Every screen is navigable with VoiceOver. Controls carry descriptive labels, stock state and stats are spoken as values (for example "Availability, 82 percent" or "In stock at $379"), product rows, cards, widgets, and Live Activities read as single elements instead of fragments, section headings are reachable through the heading rotor, and chart data on the stock-history and price screens is exposed as spoken values rather than visuals alone.
• Voice Control. Interactive elements have speakable names that match or closely follow their visible text, and repeated controls - like the watch bell on each variant - carry unique names so you can address them directly.
• Switch Control. Actions that are normally behind a swipe or a touch-and-hold, such as unsubscribing from a watch, moving a product between lists, or renaming a list, are mirrored as accessibility actions reachable from the row itself.
• Larger Text (Dynamic Type). The app uses the system text styles and scaled metrics, and supports Dynamic Type through the accessibility sizes. Dense layouts rearrange vertically at accessibility sizes, and sheets grow and scroll instead of clipping their buttons.
• Dark Interface. A full dark color scheme is applied across every screen, sheet, widget, and Live Activity, following your system appearance.
• Differentiate Without Color Alone. Stock state is always paired with text ("In stock", "Sold out") and never conveyed by a colored dot alone; decorative status dots are hidden from assistive technologies.
• Sufficient Contrast. The app's text colors are tuned per color scheme to meet the WCAG AA contrast threshold of 4.5:1 for body and secondary text in both light and dark appearance.
• Reduced Motion. Celebratory confetti, loading shimmers, symbol bounces, and slide transitions are disabled or replaced with static equivalents when Reduce Motion is on.

NotiFi contains no audio or video content, so captions and audio descriptions do not apply.

How we test

• Every user-facing screen is reviewed against a checklist covering labels, traits, grouping, focus management, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, transparency, color independence, tap targets, and gesture alternatives.
• We inspect the running app's accessibility tree - the same element tree VoiceOver, Voice Control, and Switch Control consume - and walk key flows with VoiceOver enabled.
• Layouts are verified at the largest accessibility text sizes, in both light and dark appearance, and with Reduce Motion on.
• Contrast ratios are computed directly from the app's color definitions against WCAG 2.1 AA.

This website

We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA conformance on getnotifi.app: semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus states, text alternatives for meaningful images, and support for the reduced-motion preference. If you hit something on the site that doesn't work with your assistive technology, we want to know.

Known limitations

• Charts expose their data as spoken per-point values; full Audio Graph support is on our list.
• A few dense stats rows wrap awkwardly, though without losing content, at the very largest accessibility text sizes.

If any part of NotiFi or this website is difficult or impossible to use with an assistive technology, email hello@parra.io and describe what you were trying to do and the technology you were using. Accessibility reports are treated as bugs, not feature requests: they are triaged with the same priority as crashes and are typically answered within two business days.
